Terms and Conditions ("Terms")

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the​http://www,medanz.org.nz website (the "Service") operated by ​the Middle Eastern Dance Association of New Zealand Incorporated​ ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Publishing Permissions
​

According to the Rules of Incorporated Societies, all members shall have reasonable access to the Register of Members - this is usually provided at each AGM or on request. Therefore by agreeing to these terms all members agree for their name, region and either email or phone contact to be provided to other members of this society.

Purchases

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your name, address, email and phone contact information.

Subscriptions

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be invoiced in advance on a recurring annual basis.

Content

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the content you publish here and are required to ensure that you do not infringe on the copyright of others.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by ​the Middle Eastern Dance Association of New Zealand Incorporated.

The Middle Eastern Dance Association of New Zealand Incorporated​ has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that ​the Middle Eastern Dance Association of New Zealand Incorporated shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 3​​ days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Festival 2024 Christchurch - Event Policy:
​

MEDANZ Subscribers: Make sure you log in before purchasing your pass to receive the 15% Subscribers discount. This discount is ONLY available when logged in. MEDANZ will not reimburse you if you forget.

​

Manual Payments: (deposits made into the MEDANZ Kiwibank account)

If we have not received your payment within 7 days or by the end of business on 24 April your ticket will be cancelled.

All Workshop Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable - excluding the provisions below:

All tickets issued by MEDANZ to its Festival 2024 events will be 60% refundable (less processing fees) should the Festival be cancelled due to natural disaster or unforeseeable Act of God.

Other Refund requests eg: death of an immediate family member, severe injury (with supporting medical documentation) will be considered by the committee on a case by case basis.

If you have any flu or Covid-like symptoms at any time during the Festival, please stay at home or remain in your temporary accommodation to prevent sharing any possible infection with the rest of the bellydance community.

Should a Tutor become sick or need to cancel their attendance at the last minute, an alternative workshop at the festival will be offered.
