When we begin to sway - Elegant Samaii

A choreography drawing on Reda style footwork to everyone's favourite and most accessible sama'i, Lamma Bada Yatathana. We will dance to the lovely vocals of Lena Chamamyan.
Please bring footwear you can easily pivot in - ballet slippers, socks, or dance sneakers.
All MEDANZ Festival 2024 workshop tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

Zumarrad has danced since 1998 and studied with a wide variety of teachers. She is passionate about Middle Eastern dance, especially Egyptian styles, and sharing the beauty of classic movement to music with dancers of all levels.
