Philosophy: We are dedicated in supporting Middle Eastern dance in our community through a laid back, fun atmosphere, with weekly practices open to everyone. We dance Egyptian style bellydance, and mostly we dance with each other, for each other. Occasionally we perform at charity events but no-one is obliged to do so!
I started Belly Dancing in 2004 with Tanya Bamford-King and started performing in a group, in public in 2005. I loved the music, dance and costumes from the first day and still have a driving passion for the art of Belly Dance. I learn all the time from workshops, MEDANZ Festivals, local teachers, instructional DVDs and Belly dance Retreats.
