Early November MEDANZ will provide you with course notes and a Zoom meeting to explain how to create your video course content for the 2022 Festival.

During November, December (& early January if necessary), you will be expected to record an online course in your chosen subject. All courses are to include:

Warm up, cool down, conditioning exercises or prop practice/ instruction as required, technique on all the steps and movements used, combinations using the movements, and finally the completed choreography if applicable.

MEDANZ is to be credited verbally in the video as having commissioned this work as part of the 2022 MEDANZ Festival Show in addition to displaying the Proudly Sponsored by MEDANZ Logo

We expect this content to be approximately 120 minutes in length, and recommend that you record the content in small sections to enable well paced online learning for your students.

You are invited to submit your concept of a course that results in either a 3 minute Choreography that may be performed in the 2022 Festival Show, there are 4 available course slots in this category.

Or you may submit a technique course concept that does not include choreography (although it may include combinations), there are 8 available slots in this category.

All of the 12 course teachers will be offered a 5 minute solo/group item in the Festival Show, in addition to one 2 hour live workshop over the Festival weekend (for the 4 choreography courses, this will involve the staging of the group items for the show).

There is no limit on the number of course concepts you can submit to us for consideration. Course content must be unique to the tutor, and be new to MEDANZ.

Please be mindful of using copyright music for your project. If your music is covered by copyright you will need to provide full details of the issuer and/or get written permission for its intended use before the online sales commence in January.
