This can be taken as a prep for my improvisation workshop, or as a stand-alone experience. Interpreting progressive rock music can be particularly challenging when it includes odd rhythms and/or time signatures. Demystify the madness with my analysis tips and technique ideas. We will briefly discuss my view of ethical fusion, then dive right in. My movement vocabulary is a mix of American Cabaret, raqs sharqi, and fusion, but all experienced dancers are welcome. The music of TOOL is a particular focus.
