About the Event
A spectacular showcase of belly dance art from award-winning Phoenix Belly Dance to celebrate their 10 Year Anniversary. Expect a swirl of colour, choreography and a visual feast of dance.
Phoenix Belly Dance is a multi-award-winning entertainment company and dance troupe based in Auckland. The group loves sharing the art of Middle Eastern dance through their classes, workshops and performances that fuse contemporary concepts with the traditional roots of belly dance.
This show will once again raise funds in aid of North Shore Women's Centre, which provides a wide variety of services for women and families in need. Services include a free legal clinic, counselling, social services and classes. There will be silent auctions before the show and during the intermission and 100% of proceeds from these auctions will go to the Centre, helping them to continue their amazing work.
