Hafla d’Art Déco

Paisley Stage, 17 Carlyle Street, Napier (a 950m walk from the Napier Conference Centre down the main street)

Dress in your favourite Art Deco era attire and join us for an evening of belly dance! The city of Napier is loved for its vintage art and architecture from the early 20th century, and tonight, our belly dancers will draw from that inspiration. Need some ideas for your own Deco outfit? Google art deco or fashion in the 1910s, 1920s, 1930s.

$45 Full ticket (tour/dinner/hafla)

$20 Hafla ticket (just hafla, no dinner or tour, doors open at 8pm)

5:45pm Full ticket guests meet at art Deco walk will meet at the Napier Conference Centre to begin the tour

6:00pm Tour begins

6:30pm Arrive at Paisley Stage for start of dinner, followed by performances

8:00pm Doors open for hafla ticket holders

Want to dance in the hafla?

Sign ups to perform in the hafla will be taken at 6:30pm, upon entry to venue. First come first serve.

Bring your music on iPod or Mp3 player

You must come dressed in your costume (so don’t forget your cover up!). This will help us avoid delays. A green room will be available for you to change into your party clothes after you dance.

Stage size is 7.3m x 4.8m with a high enough ceiling for props
